There were unexpected scenes included which made the story even more exciting. Children will be drawn in by the lovely, straightforward illustrations and will enjoy singing the song included at the end. The book’s language is accessible to young readers and its descriptions of the scenes and characters included are captivating. The valuable lessons about the importance of family and community woven into the story are helpful to both adults and children.
