“Reviewed By Bernadette Longu for Readers’ Favorite

The Stone Thread by J.R. Evangelisti is a most interesting book and very unusually written. It is a story within a story and it showcases how good triumphs over evil. It is science fiction, the paranormal, and a detective story all rolled into one. The author holds the attention of the reader from the first page as the book starts in ancient times, then jumps to 1980 A.D., and ends very dramatically in the year 3000 A.D.

The Stone Thread takes the reader through a maze of thoughts, words, and actions. It brings to light government conspiracies and how easy it is to cover up things that they don’t want the public, in general, to know about. J.R. Evangelisti has crafted characters that are both strong and weak and vulnerable but very believable. The author shows how our own minds can hold us hostage in the characters of Elizabeth Wellstrom, Doug Collins, Dr. Richard Brandlin, and Paul Jansaun also known as Skotoma.

The Stone Thread brings more characters into the book as it nears the closing stages but you find yourself eagerly reading just to find out how the two stories tie up and how all is revealed at the very end of the book. Two words that have been passed down through time are mentioned. The ending to this well-written book cannot be predicted.  A must-read for anyone into the paranormal, science fiction, and the mysterious  Well done, a good read.”
